PRAYER GROUP - Have a prayer

to send one to our prayer chain! Purpose of the email
prayer group is to lift anyone's needs to the Lord. As a
prayer chain member, we are committed to praying to the Lord for
others needs, as they are presented. It is our purpose to
provide prayerful support to our church family, friends and the
community. "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests." Ephesians 6:18
CONTEMPORARY (BLENDED) SERVICE
- Our first Sunday service is designed for those who prefer contemporary praise
music, guitars, electric keyboards, casual attire and informality.
From mid-May through September, these services are conducted in the
beauty and serenity of our outdoor Green Cathedral, weather
permitting.
TRADITIONAL SERVICE
- Our second Sunday service is designed for those who prefer the tradition of classic
hymns, ritual, and a higher level of formality.
HOLIDAY
- DUMC offers a number of different holiday
programs with emphasis on Easter and Christmas. The Worship
Committee meets prior to these events and in an effort to continue
to find services that will meet the needs of the church and
community. Check the
calendar for exact dates and times of these and other
events.
SPECIAL SERVICES
- Throughout the year DUMC may
have special services including Youth, New Member Dedication, Baptisms, and other
services honoring a milestone in the church or its membership as well as
a variety of other types of services. Please check the
calendar for exact schedules as service locations, times, and
themes change throughout the year.
ATTENDANCE
- Attendance at DUMC averages around 100-150 for
the early service and around 50-60 for the later service.
