PURPOSE
The organized unit of United Methodist
Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and
to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to
develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of
mission through participation in the global ministries of the
church.

INVITATION
All ladies are invited to our meetings and
activities. Please join us on the second Tuesday evening of each
month for a wonderful evening of fellowship and fun. We generally
study a book of interest to Christian women.
A THANK YOU
We thank all of those who have supported us and
who have participated in our programs during the past. We look
forward to offering continued and new opportunities for Christian
fellowship and service during this year. Our fund raising programs,
which include the ongoing sale of RADA knives, the sale of Lucinda
pins and church cookbooks, have enabled us to contribute to several
UMW mission programs. We have also contributed to the renovation of
the parsonage porch and purchased first aid kits for ASP.
MISSIONS
The Davidsonville United Methodist Women (DUMW)
is a five-star unit that supports both local and global missions.
Each year we send a pledge to the Annapolis district of UMW. We
also select a global mission each year.
